Core of Knowledge: Laws and Regulations - Understanding and Avoiding Serious Deficiencies (December 2025)
This class will enable licensees, administrators and others who are responsible for setting care home policies, training staff, supervising staff or otherwise running the home, to keep the home in substantial compliance with Title 22 regulations.
By the end of the course, participants will:
a. Be able to understand better what an evaluation visit will consist of
b. Understand common areas that will be inspected.
c. Understand what their responsibility will be if given a notice of deficiency.
d. Understand the penalty assessment process and how to avoid being in a position where their home will be assessed penalties.
